We’re proud to welcome SMP and Exult to Intrigue Music for the Disconnected EP. The second 4 track release from this relatively new production partnership, who began working together during lockdown in 2020. First bonding over a shared love of each other’s production they started to produce collaboratively and the rest is history.

Beginning this project with a clear vision - they set out to produce soulful, energetic dancefloor music. The Disconnected EP is exactly that, made possible by the smooth and effortless workflow the pair discovered. SMP sets the vibe with atmosphere, bass and drums, with Exult taking the ideas forward from there, combining forces to lift the tracks into the next level.

‘Broker’ and ‘Wintersoul’ are perfect examples of this partnership, SMP and Exult working together in harmony to produce the delicately textured and intricate depth that make these tracks progress and grow with every bar.

The spectacular vocal talents of Sydney add that extra magic to the title track and the pensive Perfect Thing, where Matt Freeman completes the EP with his thoughtful vocals, telling the story of love from two differing angles.
